The December 26-28, 1980 incidents near RAF Woodbridge (a US-operated base in Suffolk, England) when USAF personnel reported unusual lights and an "illuminated triangular craft" in the adjacent Rendlesham Forest. The reports are well documented; the claim that the lights were an alien or otherwise unexplained craft has not cleared our evidence bar.
