Confirmed for the documented core. Court records, a unanimous Supreme Court ruling, released Oval Office tapes and Nixon's own August 1974 statement establish a break-in by his re-election committee and a cover-up in which he took part. Graff counts 69 people indicted or charged, including Nixon's former Attorney General, chief of staff and domestic adviser. Not established: who ordered the burglary, or whether Nixon knew of it beforehand.
