Is it true: Smart-Meter Wildfire Claims?
There's no solid evidence for it.
There is no evidence that smart meters are a systematic cause of wildfires or that anyone is using them to start fires deliberately. Smart meters do not appear as a statistically significant wildfire cause in CAL FIRE or other fire investigation data, and the Lahaina and Eaton fires were traced to utility power lines and transmission equipment, not meters.
