The claim: the music industry deliberately killed or 'sacrificed' Mac Miller. Debunked. The LA County coroner certified his death as accidental mixed drug toxicity (fentanyl, cocaine, ethanol), and prosecutors traced the fentanyl to counterfeit oxycodone pills supplied by men they charged as drug dealers. Stephen Walter (210 months) and Ryan Reavis (131 months) pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl; Cameron Pettit, accused of selling Miller the pills, has no public plea or sentence. No document, witness or court filing links any record label, manager or industry figure to the pills or to his death.
