Fact check

Is it true: The JFK Assassination Conspiracy?

Under Investigation50% confidence

It's still under investigation.

The Warren Commission concluded Oswald acted alone, but the 1979 HSCA found "probable conspiracy." The National Archives says all records previously withheld for classification had been released by March 2025. According to the Washington Post's review of the Joannides documents released in 2025, the CIA knew more about Oswald than it admitted for decades, but the Post found no indication in the newly released CIA files that the agency was involved in the assassination. The evidence for a conspiracy is suggestive but not conclusive.
