Is it true: The Dulce Base: A Secret Human-Alien Underground Facility in New Mexico?
There's no solid evidence for it.
No physical, documentary, or remote-sensing evidence supports the existence of any underground base at Dulce, let alone an alien one. The legend's traceable origin is a real Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) disinformation campaign against Paul Bennewitz, later amplified by admittedly fabricated documents (the 'Dulce Papers' and the invented informant 'Thomas Castello') and by Phil Schneider's unverifiable and internally contradictory firefight story. The real government secrecy and surveillance in the story are genuine; the alien base is not.
The claim
A secret multi-level underground base beneath Archuleta Mesa near Dulce, New Mexico is jointly operated by the U.S. government and extraterrestrial 'Grey' aliens, houses genetic experiments on humans and human-alien hybrids ('Nightmare Hall'), and was the site of a deadly 1979 firefight between aliens and human security forces.
