Government & PoliticsConfirmed
The 1973 CIA-Backed Coup in Chile
On September 11, 1973, Chilean President Salvador Allende died as military forces bombed the presidential palace and seized power, installing General Augusto Pinochet. Declassified CIA, State Department, and Nixon White House records confirm that the United States actively sought to destabilise Allende's government through covert operations (Track I and Track II), economic pressure, and military contacts. The CIA's own documents describe authorisation from President Nixon and National Security Adviser Henry Kissinger. The verdict is confirmed: US covert involvement is a documented historical fact, not speculation.

Yellowstone Supervolcano Cover-Up
Claims that the US government or USGS is concealing evidence of an imminent Yellowstone supervolcano eruption that would devastate North America, or that seismic and geothermal data are being misrepresented to prevent public panic. The USGS Yellowstone Volcano Observatory (YVO) publishes its monitoring data in real time. The current probability of a large-scale Yellowstone eruption in any given year is approximately 1 in 730,000.

The Bermuda Triangle
Claims that an area of the North Atlantic bounded roughly by Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico experiences an anomalous rate of ship and aircraft disappearances attributable to supernatural forces, extraterrestrials, or unknown natural phenomena. Lloyd's of London (1975) found no anomalous loss rate in the region, and researcher Larry Kusche demonstrated that many celebrated disappearances were misreported, occurred outside the claimed boundaries, or never happened.

Adrenochrome Harvesting
A claim, amplified heavily by QAnon from 2017 onward, that global elites harvest a compound called adrenochrome from the blood of frightened children and consume it as a psychoactive drug or life-extension substance. Adrenochrome is a real, commercially available compound (oxidised adrenaline) with no credible evidence of psychoactive properties or significant physiological effect at any plausible dose. The claim recycles antisemitic blood-libel tropes with a modern pseudo-scientific veneer.
