   November 2026: Expanded the account with CDC, National Archives, court and 1973 advisory-panel records; corrected the study's end date (November 1972), the penicillin date (the CDC now says 1943), the 1932 treatment context and an unsupported death-toll figure; clarified that the men were not infected, unlike in the separate Guatemala experiments.
